Ash Creek Elementary School District 53 is excited to announce that our students, teachers, and staff will be celebrating National School Choice Week 2018, (January 21-27), with a special celebration.
This event will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30 am in the gym. A student presentation of song and dance will accompany posters decorating the gym, in addition to a pancake and sausage breakfast. We here at Ash Creek would like to thank board member Carolina Tolby for the donation of pancake fixins’ and syrup. The Mustang Mall donated the sausage for which we are very appreciative.
National School Choice Week is a non-partisan, non-political effort that raises awareness about the importance of effective education options for students. This event commemorates National School Choice Week 2018, which is America’s largest annual celebration of opportunity in education. Choice in education means better outcomes for families.
Ash Creek Elementary is an arts integrated school, meaning art, cooking, and agriculture are incorporated into the curriculum. We have small class sizes, great teachers and staff, individualized student computers with state of the art learning software, and highly advanced curriculum standards. With an on campus public library and multiple field trips, our students are exposed to culture, science, history and nature.
If you would like to see what Ash Creek Elementary School has to offer your children, we invite you to join us January 25th at 9 am. Please phone: 520-824-3340 to let us know you will be attending.
