A special thank you to the VFW Post # 9977 Cochise Ladies Auxiliary for the generous donation for school supplies!
Ash Creek Elementary School is pleased to announce we are now part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The CEP allows high-poverty schools to offer free school meals, breakfast and lunch, to all students attending. It eliminates the school meal application process.
We would like to thank Bowie Elementary, McNeal Elementary, Pomerene Elementary, Cochise Elementary, Search homeschooling group, and Joanna Todd Christian School for attending our 35th annual track meet.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers for helping out, Michael Simmons for announcing, and a special thank you to Cochise County Sheriff’s Department, Border Patrol, and Pearce/Sunsites Fire Department for attending and helping out.
Join us on March 19 at 6:30 pm for the culminating performance of our week with Odaiko Sonora Japanese drumming group. Members of the group will work with Ash Creek students all week, teaching them about the art of Japanese ensemble drumming. The final performance is a must-see event. We will share a potluck meal after the performance. Don’t miss it!
