Do you know of a child from three to five years of age who seems to have developmental delays?
Screening and referrals for children aged birth through 21 years of age, who may have disabilities or significant developmental delays, is available for children within the geographical boundaries of the Ash Creek School District.
These services are provided through Child Find. Child Find is a federally- mandated screening program.
Parents or guardians of such children are invited to call Ash Creek School at (520) 824-3340 to arrange an appointment for a free Child Find screening.
Children may be eligible for services under these categories:
- Autism
- Emotional disability
- Hearing impairment
- Mild, moderate or severe mental retardation
- Developmental delay
- Preschool severe delay
- Multiple disabilities with severe sensory impairment
- Multiple disabilities
- Other health impairments (such as ADHD)
- Orthopedic impairment
- Specific learning disabilities
- Speech/language impairment
- Visual impairment
